Used 2001 Saturn S-Series Consumer Reviews
2001 Saturn SL2
This is the second Saturn I have owned. The first was a 1992 SL. I put 250,000 miles on it before I replaced it with the SL2 I own now. I had very few problems with the first and I have had no problems with the one I own now. Excellent!!!!
Really enjoyed the buying experience !!!
Being in the automotive trade as a automotive technician I do like the ay it is easy to service ( such as auto trans services using a drain plug and spin on filter) Dent resistant doors and quality of the vehicle It is not a Cadillac by any means but probally more reliable than one. Best thing about a Saturn is the dealer as love the no pressure, helpful attitude and they really do seem to care

Great Reliable Car
I have had my Saturn for 2 years now and havn't had any problems with it what so ever. Its just been a great car. It gets great gas milage which has saved me a ton of money. Although it has a small engine it has great get up and go. It also has never had any troube starting in the winters for me, but I do have an engine block heater in it too that I always make sure to plug in when it gets really cold especially when it is below 0.
Cheap Reliable Transportation
I bought this car new because I wanted a cheap car for a 60 mile daily commute. I have not had one problem with it. Although I no longer put high mileage on it, I did for two years. For the price, a good car. It's not too flashy or fast, but it gets you from point A to B every time.
In the Weeds
I ordered this car from the manufacturer and have had good things to say about it. I have lowered the car, put new rims and tires on it, and turn heads as I fly past. It has almost 30,000 miles on it and have had no mechanical problems with it. A kick panel fell off, and the leather on the headrest came out from underneath. They were simple things to get fixed.
