Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration comments(VSC off) A little tire scratch off the line works well, but too much is too much. Once underway, the tach reaches 6,200 rpm by 40-45 mph and stays there all the way to the end of the quarter-mile. Using faux shifting makes it slower. Zero torque steer evident.
Braking ratingGood
Braking commentsThe first stop was noisy and gravelly, as if the ABS wasn't functioning properly. It seemed to go away with each successive stop.
Handling ratingExcellent
Handling commentsBoring FWD sedan behavior (on the skid pad). As you'd expect -- understeer. (In the slalom), sharp just off-center steering response combines with willing chassis to produce very respectable slalom speed for a vanilla car. Very stable and willing to transition on-throttle. Will spin off throttle with stability control off.
