Was very unhappy with Toyota's performance, mileage, and the fact it left me stranded in the heat three times in a row (vapor lock due to a poorly designed fuel pump). Also the ride and shifting were always choppy. The new Frontier is largely a … Toyota clone in the exterior looks department. Peformance-wise, it's miles ahead in ride and power. The back seat still isn't useful for much more than kids and groceries, and I'm still learning to navigate the tech features, but I haven't found a bell or whistle missing. If you're looking for a mid-sized pickup, drive this one last, you're going to be at the dealership until they hand you the keys.
