Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsThrottle modulation is the name of the game with this much power going through the front wheels. I found it would short-shift to 2nd if left in "Drive," so the best run was achieved using manual mode. Detectable but not dangerous torque steer at the top of each gear.
Braking ratingGood
Braking commentsI honestly expected better results than 130-plus feet stops. It feels as nose heavy as it is (60/40) but the pedal does provide some useful feedback.
Handling ratingGood
Handling commentsTrac off. No stability control. I love that Mitsu has built some oversteer into this car. Not only is it entertaining, it counteracts the FED tendency to understeer. By using the oversteer to rotate the car around each cone, I could really manhandle the course. Body motions are well controlled and "sporty" as the Ralliart badge would indicate. Still, this is nowhere near as good as the SEMA car was.
