2023 MINI Convertible John Cooper Works 2dr Convertible (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 8A)
Bought the JCW almost new with only 5,000 miles and have added another 10,500 in city and highway driving. This is my third Mini after two Countrymen S All4s as we wanted to downsize for the city. The driveline is perfect for this chassis with 228 hp and 8-Speed Automatic. It is also incredibly versatile as we have already had four adults on board and often carry small bags and … groceries. Its handling, steering and ride are very balanced and direct and the solidity of the BMW platform DNA is clearly present. You get a lot of quality for the price. I love the Heads-Up Display and combination soft top with sunroof which opens very wide even with the roof closed. This is the perfect open-air machine to use and enjoy. The only aspect that buyers should be aware of is the overly-stiff suspension / wheels if you opt for the 18" size. I think that Mini engineers tar geted 1.0g+ lateral acceleration at the expense of a brutally stiff ride.
