Used 1993 Mercury Capri Consumer Reviews
My new cute 1991 red convertible Capri
I bought this car for only a couple hundred dollars....everywhere I go people love it!! I am going to do a complete restoration of this car to factory since for a couple hundred dollars and in great condition. It is well worth the investment!!!!
great first starter
I love my capri! I have had very few problems with my capri! The only major fix was the distibutor and that was because the car has 134,000 miles on it! It's great to put the top down and go! I couldn't of asked for a better car!Its a great first car ,not to fast, but not to slow!

transmission
I loved my capri. If I ever win the lottery, I will definately buy another one. However, one would have to win the lottery to afford the up keep. I only had mine for 3 years, but the value dropped signifigantly, and it spent more time in the shop for the tranns mission than I did driving it. On top of it it was so limited that the parts are hard to find....But i sure do miss all the good times!
Ebay Capri
Bought this from a dealer off of Ebay about a year ago. Its been a great little car, and cost about the same as my first car (Opel GT) 20 years ago. Motor/tranny is solid, parts aren't too hard to come by, other than body specific things. Economical top-down fun.
Great car for free
I can't complain at all!! Friends of mine was moving last fall and they had this car sitting out on their field, said it wasn't working. And asked I wanted to have it?! A question answered with a YES! Turned out it was a simple fuse. Definitely a head turner due to the fact few people knows about this car. Still all original, NO RUST!, and with a top not leaking! New tires is on it's way! Arctic White with blue/red stripes. A perfect summer car. Average mpg (doing longdistance driving: 38mpg!)
