Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsAlthough the four-cylinder engine noise is apparent, it sounds sporty, not thrashy. Found some benefit from brake torque and manually shifting. In Drive with stabiity control on, it allows modest wheelspin but upshifts 400-500 rpm shy of 6,500-rpm rev limit. Linear power throughout entire gear and smooth upshifts in either auto or manual. No match-rev manual downshifts.
Braking ratingAverage
Braking commentsMedium-soft pedal, medium bite at initial pedal application, medium dive, medium fade resistance -- not good but not below average.
Handling ratingGood
Handling commentsWith stability control off, steering is talkative and lively and precise. Very mild understeer just beyond otherwise neutral behavior. With ESC on, throttle maintains neutral attitude without understeer, unobtrusively.
