Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsA little pokey off the line -- either with or without wheelspin. Gear spacing seems a little wide for a small-displacement engine. Manual shifting results were identical to full auto.
Braking ratingGood
Braking commentsNice, firm, trustworthy pedal and good fade resistance. Minimal dive and straight stops.
Handling ratingGood
Handling commentsSkid pad: Low limits and conservative tuning, but paired with decent feedback and roll stiffness, the Koup doesn't embarass itself here. Slalom: Direct steering, good roll control and enough damping control. Impressive feedback, actually. Would benefit greatly from stickier tires, but drives with good manners as is. Fun.
