2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV AWD (1.5L 4cyl Turbo CVT)
I've only had it 2 weeks, but I really like it. It's not adventurous or exciting, but it feels just right. I was smitten at first drive. The steering and brakes feel great, it's decently peppy, the CVT is not obnoxious, it's comfortable, very spacious, and everything is intuitive and easy to use. It's not cheap, and lacks some features (ventilated seats, a built in garage door opener), … but it feels like a high quality vehicle. Doors go "thunk" instead of "ding" when you close them. The road noise level is a little higher than I like on some surfaces, the audio system is not the best I've ever heard, and the central display is not super hi-res, but these are quibbles. I keep coming back to how harmoniously it all works. The thing just feels good to drive. Fuel mileage is decent, running 25-30 so far. Yeah, it's sort of an appliance vehicle. By today's standards it's not opulent. It's humble. It's not too hot and not too cold. It's just right. No regrets.
