2019 Ferrari Portofino 2dr Convertible (3.9L 8cyl Turbo 7AM)
Review update 2023:
3 years into ownership and the Portofino has found a long term place in the garage. The electronics continue to feel up to date, finishes are looking as new. Engine/Drivetrain is great!!
Review update 2022:
I wrote a review when we bought the car and it stands true still. We ordered our 2020 Portofino with a lot of equipment, the more heavily optioned cars feel … different than a low optioned car. As you would expect, more options brings a better feeling of quality and richness to the car. The JBL upgrade, heavy amounts of carbon fiber, upgraded leather patterns, Ferrari custom wheels all make a noticeable difference in the experience and the visual appeal of the car.
My review below from 2020 is still valid:
The Portofino is NOT a cheap Ferrari. The build quality and R&D that went into the Portofino is absolutely top notch. This car is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Push the revs above 5k and the whole car changes. It’ll surprise you, know where you want to go and have the car pointed that direction before slamming the accelerator to the floor! Truly the next generation of Ferrari’s commitment to top quality materials and design. This is a drivers car.
