Lindsay Chevrolet
Dealership Sales Review
Is there an “no star option”? Extremely unprofessional staff/management. My pregnant wife of nine months and myself came in to purchase a new 2023 Chevy Traverse. We were offered a decent deal the first day but wanted to test other vehicles to ensure the Traverse was a good fit our growing family. I called the following morning, spoke to the sale manager (Sean) who ensured they would honor the same deal if I came in to close the deal. A couple hours later I arrived at the dealership to find out the Sean had to step out for the day. Odd, considering I just spoke to him on the phone, but things come up so I wasn’t too upset until another sale manager (Miquel) stepped in an offered $4K over the original offer. The original sales rep was not in either so I was told I had to start over. Needless to say, I walked out. The following morning I called and requested to speak to the GM but was told he wasn’t in so I was put in touch with the finance director (Hamza). I explained the situation and the original offer, Hamza reassured the deal would be honored if I come in at my earliest. I scheduled a meeting with Hamza the following morning at 1045 but explained I had to shift around childcare, take off work and bring the pregnant wife, which requires a lot of coordination. He understood and put me on the “VIP list”. After arriving the next morning and sitting for an hour, I was offered $1500 above the original offer. Annoyed more at this point, I requested to speak with Hamza to figure out why he lied to me. As I wait for Hamza, another sales “manager” (Miquel) was being nosey by standing near the sales desk , leaning against a filing cabinet about 7 feet away and disgustingly/unprofessionally eating white powder doughnuts while staring at us while we were trying to figure out the numbers concern. My wife politely requested he stop hovering over us, watching us and eat his food somewhere else. He refused and very unprofessionally exerted, “I’M THEIR BOSS and could NOT honor the deal.” I understand it’s a business but the unprofessional line was crossed. I remind you this tone was very abrasive and unprofessional, coming from a “manager.” Angrily, we walked to the finance directors office and requested to discuss his unprofessional employees. We were escorted to a private room so other customers were not within ears reach. As we explained to the finance director what went on, he was not interested and actually CUT ME OFF mid-comment stating he couldn’t come budge and didn’t even acknowledge his unprofessional staff. If there was a ZERO STAR REVIEW option, I would give it to Lindsay Chevy - Woodbridge. Highly recommend giving your time/effort/business to a different dealership, like Radley down in Spotsylvania, VA or truly, anywhere else. It was a bad experience between multiple different people and they all seemed to be grabbing numbers from all over. Don’t trust them.
