Koons Tysons Chevy GMC
Dealership Sales Review
Koons exemplifies why people hate car dealers. Call them about a car that interests you and go for a test drive, then the games begin. First, the old "salesman holds onto the key, then a manager comes looking for it to show a couple very interested in buying it" routine. Then, the salesman disappears with a folder before discussing a price, though attempting to push you into maker financing (remember, people--"ally" is GMAC with new branding). You stand up to look around the showroom, and the car hasn't moved from where you left it following the test drive, and no manager or interested couple is around to be seen. Then, the salesman returns and bullies on GMAC financing, finally spilling that Koons wants a $5,000 premium on the Volt above MSRP--"Your credit union isn't going to finance the premium, but [GMAC] will!" The vehicle remains on their inventory after the close of business, though their "cyber gray" demo listed on Chevy inventory has been replaced by a viridian vehicle.
