We were in the market for a new SUV to replace our 2009 Toyota Highlander and ended up working with Mechanicsville Toyota after submitting numerous internet inquiries about different cars from different dealers in the Richmond area. They were far less pushy when responding via e-mail than other dealers, so they were quick to win out as being a first choice to visit in person. We worked with Josh Brown and he was great. Very responsive via the initial e-mail back and forth and easy to set up an appointment for a test drive. He had the car ready for us when we got there and was very nice and straightforward to deal with. Provided good background info on the new Highlander during the test drive. Once back at the dealership to discuss prices, he was quick to work with us on what what I considered a fair / very competitive price for the new car and for our 09 Highlander we were trading. Since they did not have the color we wanted, they arranged to have one brought down from another dealer which we picked up 3 days later (and after they installed a trailer hitch). Rest of the financing process was straightforward with little pressure to upgrade the warranty or purchase after market products (although we did decide to go with the extended warranty). As a person who does not enjoy the typical car buying experience, this was pretty darn good all things considered. Would recommend them if you are in the market for a Toyota. I'm hoping their service department delivers the same quality experience.
