Koons Arlington Toyota

I have purchased six new Toyotas since 1999 at Koons Arlington and have always been very pleased with the experience. Personnel changes have been frequent over the years (typical, I think), but I usually find "the good people" upon returning for the latest purchase. In fairness, I am very familiar with the car business, being in the repair aspect thirty three years(BMW). My knowledge and confidence may have resulted in better treatment than someone "outside the biz" might receive. I don't know. But I would say that I've always been completely straightforward in my dealings with them and that respect has been returned. I'm sure the sales staff there, as well as anywhere, appreciate not being treated with suspicion and the usual defensive measures that many potential customers employ(quite often for good reason..), and HOPEFULLY will respond accordingly. Obviously, not every sales staff member can be counted on to act in good faith - it may take asking around to find the right person. My approach does not imply that one shouldn't be informed and blindly walk in any dealership. Resouces such as Edmunds are very important in that process. I'm just suggesting that the above approach MAY be useful in defusing some of the sales nonsense that all to often accompanies the sales experience at any dealership. It worked for me at Koons Arlington - I hope it works for you.
