We are so thankful for Mercedes-Benz Waco service dept. We were driving our less than 2 yr old GLE350 & it went crazy! Sputtering, stopping, more sputtering while traveling from E TX back to Georgetown. An SUV this $$$$ should not do this. Called our local Georgetown, TX MB Svc Dept & they could not see us for 3 weeks. Really?? Found MB of Waco, called & they said bring the car here. Like most dealers these days they were out of loaner cars but they helped us find a rental company to call. We get to MB Waco (sputtering the entire way) & there is a known issue with the cylinders (shame on MB) but it has not been recalled. They kept the car, had to order all kinds of parts & got it back to us within 10 days. Two days into them having our car they called us & said we have a loaner for you. We were thrilled as the rental car was $99.00 a day plus tax. UGH. We worked with Caroline & she was so helpful & kind. She knew how stressed I was with such a major issue while traveling on I35 through TX. She was reassuring, kind and professional. The fact that she called us 2 days in & had a loaner car for us was incredible. Everyone we dealt with at Mercedes-Benz Waco was very nice, kind & professional. I am hesitant to write such a nice review because I don't want them to get super busy !! But, the right thing to do is to recognize them and their great service. Thank you all for understanding the importance of good customer service and for going above and beyond. We bought a MB for the first time when we purchased this car & we did it for their reliability & their service. Based on the service received at our local MB dealer in Georgetown, TX we were not going to buy another one. However, the good people at Waco MB have changed our minds & we will drive further to have all of our car servicing done with them. And, please thank Caroline for her wonderful service and her caring attitude.
