Purchased car online. 2020 with 5K miles. Was told car was 10/10. Also told car was to be CPO’d, however due to software update delay could not. Drove roughly 200 miles in the rain to pick up car. When I got to dealership car was outside, after a couple of hours of delay with getting drafting instructions from my bank was anxious to get back. Had to drive back through Austin in the rain. Car looked good. I wish I had spent more time looking it over. (Car also had additional 1000+ miles on it) The following day noticed several areas of VERY poorly painted areas of scratches and scuffs. These were hard to see as car is black and was raining. The worse was the large chip/starburst in the windshield. This was noticed the next day when sun came out. Took immediately to windshield repair(thinking it happened on my way home) was told chip had previously been repaired and nothing more could be done. Replacing windshield is necessary.Reached out immediately to dealership, no follow up. This is my 6th MB most of all have been CPOs. NO WAY is this car’s condition a 10/10 or worthy of being certified. Nice car, dealership was pleasant to deal with before and during transaction. Follow up is where ball has been dropped. Very disappointed.
