Dealership Sales Review
Here is my honest review with Audi Plano - Autonation dealer. I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone as they don't care about the customers after the payment. I owned many German vehicles in the past and never had any issue with the dealer. On Oct-05th, I went to Audi to purchase second car for my wife. Met with sales rep and checked the car (Thursday 10/5). I was told that car still need to be inspected and it will be ready in an hour or next day morning. We finished the paperwork paid the full amount with check. I was expecting call on friday morning and waited till 2pm (10/6). No call or text regarding the delivery. I called sales guy and he didn't answer my texts or calls. Then emailed general manager asking for help. After that got the call from sales rep saying they put order for tires and vehicle will be ready Saturday morning (10/7). They didn't mention this before purchase. We had a plan to spend weekend in Oaklahoma and cancelled all those plans due to car delivery on Saturday. Again Saturday same thing. Waited till 2pm and sent a message to sales rep. He called me back and said they put a order for tires and USPS didn't deliver those tires. Even a small tire shop will have tires in stock and being a big audi dealer they couldn't get set of tires. It is so frustrating that i cancelled all my plans and not getting the right ETA. This is all happening after i made the payment. I was promised to give the delivery in an hour. Finally, After going forth and back they called me to pick up the car on (Tuesday,10/10) at 6pm after 5days. I asked the sales rep that if they have finished the inspection and oil changes and he mentioned they did everything and that's the reason delivery got delayed. After driving the car for few days realized that i can't do anything on the dashboard as it is locked to previous owner. I called Audi customer care and they mentioned that they couldn't reach the car via internet. Network module was broken and asked to take it to the dealer. I took an appointment and checked with sales guy. Then we pulled the car into service and they mentioned network module was faulty. At the same time I mentioned about some rotten smell from cabin. That's when service mentioned that there is no service history on the car. They didn't change or checked anything before the delivery. No oil change and No cabin filter change. That's when i realized they delivered the car as it is and didn't check anything. When i ask their service to do the oil changes and cabin filter change they said it has to be paid and they do not have an appointment for another month. They scheduled an appointment for Nov-13th. First of all, This dealer communication is very bad and they don't speak to you after the payment. Also, they do not inspect or ready the car before delivey. I wouldn't return to this car dealer for anything. 1. Broken network module. I see some other user got remote access to my car. Attached the screen shot. This is a safety issue. 2. No service record on cabin filter change 3. Faulty promises before the payment 4. Horrible communication gap
