Dealership Service Review
My service visits are not usually as disappointing as this one. I arrived at 7:30am for an 8am appointment and reminded my service advisor that I wanted a 4-wheel alignment, equal air pressure in all 4 tires, and a car wash. I asked about rotating the tires when he told that it costs extra so its better to wait until I get the oil changed. I mentioned that the back tires were worn on the inside so he offered to give a quote for 2 tires. I received an email after 9am with a work order about needing stutts. After another 30 to 40 minutes with no status update, I sent a text to see if the technician was performing the alignment. I was told that an alignment would be a waste of money without replacing the struts. So I asked for my car and a quote. More time passed before my car was brought up. I again had to wait another 15 minutes or so for the service advisor to bring the paperwork. He presented me a bill for over $200 saying that he gave me a discount for the diagnostic. I told him that I did not ask for a diagnostic, I came for an alignment. He then told the cashier that he would take care of it. I left the dealership at 11:45am, 4 hours and 15 minutes later. Time completely wasted. I was disappointed at the delayed communication from the service advisor, as well as him trying to charge me for a service I didn't request. I don't plan to go back!
