Dealership Service Review
I dropped my car off at 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning was told that I would hear something about the cost of repair around noon, 5:00 p.m. rolls around and I decided to call John Ramirez my service rep to find out if I was getting my car back Monday afternoon. The answer was no. Tuesday comes around all day we go back and forth with the warranty department and the dealership another day down the drain. The whole day Tuesday all I was getting was text messages back and forth from John no phone calls. Wednesday comes around I get text messages telling me that the car would be ready in the afternoon. Not clear as to what the car was going to cost me in a text message of course no phone call. Wednesday afternoon I call John Ramirez again in the service department to only find out what I thought I had to pay was incorrect and that I had to pay $600 more than what I was expecting to pay. If the young man would have taken a moment to call the customer me and talk to me about what the cost were or broke the cost down to me in a text message I would have been expecting to pay $1,14.80 upon pickup of the car. This did make me very angry. So I called back to speak to his boss I was told named Greg, Greg tells me so all you're upset about is that John's fingernails were dirty and that he didn't call you to discuss the cost. The young man is working in an office at a computer and his fingernails were filthy. The young man never took time to call me and discuss the the cost of the repair with me. So yes I was upset, while I was speaking to Greg I didn't realize that he had hung up on me for several minutes. One thing I've learned by being in the service industry is no matter how angry the customer is you never hang up on the customer unless they're using profanity and even that sometimes is not warranted. I never once used profanity I did explain my frustration with the situation. I will not ever do business with this dealership again I was considering looking at the GMC trucks while I was there to pick up my car, my plan is to eventually buy me a truck but not from this dealership. On Thursday when I went to pick up my car I opened the door to find the door panel covered in Black Grease the floor mat with black footprints on it. I did go back into the service department and got the manager that was helping me to come out and take a look at it he did get the black grease cleaned off of that part. Upon returning home I noticed that the armrest had black grease and arms spots on it. I called back to speak to the same gentleman that helped me retrieve my car left a message on his voicemail that was 3 hours ago and I have still not had a call back as to when would they like me to bring the car back to clean it. My best advice to you is if you want to deal with young inexperienced men then go to this dealership. But if you want professionalism find somewhere else to go.
