Fredy Kia
Dealership Service Review
I bought a used 01 Ford Escort here in Nov 09 the car was bought as is but the salesman told me that he would "trust this car for his daughter" he has/had a little trouble with English. Anyway the motor went out 900 miles later so he offered to put a good used motor in for $1300 telling me that he would "personally see to it that everything would be done right". I Got the car back 2 weeks later it ran but was leaking oil. I finally got him on the phone he never would call me back or return my call at anytime through any of this service, I would have to "catch" him. They kept another week I got it back, drove it home and the transmission was leaking where they broke the seal shoving the left side drive shaft back in, so bad I was afraid to drive it. Enough, I took it to a local mechanic and he replaced the entire shaft unit for $500 and showed me all the things they did like reusing the old gaskets with silicone and using silicone where there was no gaskets he also said the motor looked older than the car, the salesman never would or could give me any information on it's origin. Well the car still leaks oil and the radio had to be pulled and the fuse replaced where they worked on the heater control. Let me also mention it took 6 months to get my title/tags because they did not have the title from the person that traded the car.I had to get temporary tags twice when the first one ran out.
