Fredy Kia
Dealership Sales Review
On my quest for a high MPG, low cost vehicle, I researched Kia and made contact with a few dealerships. Out of the two, this one was more professional and seemed more accomodating over the phone, emails, etc. I had a good price quote from the internet manager. I was interested in the Rio and wanted to test drive. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a salesman smelling very much like smoke. I went and looked at the cars on the lot. This lot is very dusty and had numerous potholes, cracks, etc., so wear boots and be careful where you step and drive, seriously. The salesman went inside and got the key for the vehicle we wanted to drive. There were a few that I was interested in, but due to sticker price, only one that I wanted to test drive. Once inside the vehicle, the smell of smoke was overwhelming as the A/C had not yet kicked in. We test drove and it felt way too small, to the point that it seemed like he was not actually in the back seat, but in the front. Upon returning to the dealership, I asked about the drive out price. I had a check in my purse that would have paid for it that day. He agreed to a price that my check could accomodate. Once inside the dealership, I utilized the bathroom. Upon returning to the desk area, I was ready with my check and the salesman indicated that he had given me the vehicle price, not the sales price. At that point, we left. Nice people working there, but I didn't appreciate the change in price and the car was not impressive enough to warrant the higher price, comparitively speaking.
