Fredy Kia
Dealership Sales Review
I recently purchased a Kia Soul from Fredy Kia. After the farce of the internet price scam (which appears to be aimed at getting you to visit), I thought all would be well. Well.......... not so! The vehicle came with a paper dealers license plate, which is par for the course. One week before the paper license plate expired, I called Fredy to let them know and ask about the real plate (and the second entry key). I was told that it always takes big dealerships a long time to get the plates through, because they sell so many! What nonsense - a bigger dealership means more staff to sort out these issues. Anyway, I asked for a new dealers paper license to be sent so that I would still be able to drive the car. It did not arrive. I called again and was promised that it would be fed-exed immediately. It did not arrive. The original plate had by now expired. I called again, to be given some excuse about a member of staff resigning. By now I was somewhat annoyed. I had a new car that I couldn't drive and I had been promised, twice, that a new plate would be provided. So on my next call I insisted that I talked to the sales manager - after 30 minutes of waiting on the line, and various transfers (hoping I would hang up), I got to speak to him and let him know my thoughts. Three days later the new paper license plate arrived. But now, four week later (and two months after buying the car) I am still waiting for the proper license plates and the second entry key. I just called - still waiting for them to call back! So, my advice - go elsewhere if you want good after-sales service. Fredy is happy to take your cash, but then you're on your own. PS - I didn't get a call back. I called again, to be told the real plate was still not available. Figures!
