Dealership Service Review
My initial 2 voicemails left with the service department regarding my vehicle went unanswered for over 2 weeks. I had to call a third time and spoke with the person who sold us the car to get connected with someone in service. I was told diagnostics would be completed same day - I had to call 4 times 30 minutes before they closed to find out they were keeping my car overnight. They had no rental vehicles, so I asked to be put on a waiting list and was told there wasn’t a waiting list - I was transferred to the front desk where she confirmed there was a waiting list and put me on it. 2 days later I hadn’t heard anything from them regarding the rental car, so I called - they had one available, but had not called me even though I was on the waiting list. They called with a quote of over $1000 to fix my vehicle and I told them I thought I had purchased an extra warranty - they checked and I had, so they told me my entire cost would be covered. I confirmed with them 3 times that there would be no cost, and they said that was correct. I get a call to pick up my vehicle and am told I owe $100. I voiced these complaints to the service manager and he confirmed that if I hadn’t asked about my warranty myself, I would have mistakenly paid the $1000+, they wouldn’t have caught the mistake by pulling up my file/warranty. After telling the service manager about all of these issues including giving me incorrect information on several occasions, I was told that the service representative I dealt with “did everything right, she just had too much on her plate”. Horrible customer service experience.
