Cavender Chevrolet
Dealership Service Review
I recently purchased a used Silverado from Cavender Chevrolet. The sales process itself was smooth, and everything seemed in working order at the time of delivery. However, just a day after the purchase, the AC began having issues. Due to travel, I couldn’t bring the vehicle back immediately, but once I returned, I contacted the service department and scheduled a visit. While the staff was courteous, the repair experience was frustrating. There was a lot of back-and-forth between the service team and the warranty department over who would cover the repair costs, which delayed the process for several days. Despite multiple follow-up calls, I wasn’t getting clear updates and eventually had to show up in person to get answers. I ended up escalating the issue through the sales manager, who was helpful in pushing the repair forward. In the end, I was still charged over $2,500 for a major AC repair on a vehicle I had owned for less than two weeks. The lack of internal coordination and clarity around warranty responsibility was disappointing, especially considering how soon the issue occurred after purchase. There’s definitely room for improvement in the post-sale customer service experience.
