I brought my Jeep in and told them exactly what the problem is and explained that since it involves the SKIM module, the dealership may be able to fix it more easily than the local place I usually use. I wanted an estimate. They returned the Jeep to me, told me exactly what I told them and charged me for “diagnostics” without fixing a thing. Not only that, they destroyed the side mirror and trapped the passenger seatbelt under the middle console (I don’t know why they removed the middle console…this issue had nothing to do with that) so I had to remove the entire middle console to get the seatbelt out. I reached out for help and got crickets. So I did it myself.
