Dealership Sales Review

Shady dealership
Written by Carrie on 07/26/2023

Went to buy a 2022 ram 2500, wasted countless hours and drive time all to find out they where trying to sell us a truck that had been in an accident. After demanding the car fax on multiple occasions it was finally provided. The vehicle had been labeled as having minor damage due to paint scratches and come to find out it was leased. I was concerned with rust on a one year old truck and asked where it came from. All we could get was “local”, I kept pressing, “the address for the registered owner was in tualatin”, no the leasing dealership was in tualatin, the car was clearly owned at the coast after I crawled under it. The truck was filthy and the paint was buffed so bad it had swirl scratches like they did it with a dirty sponge, rust, tire pressure light on (on the side it was damaged), missing an end cap to the step side (also the side it was damaged on) didn’t even vacuum it out (mind you we showed up with intent to buy that moment and they knew this). After further persistent digging they provided the full disclosure report. Tail light replaced, bumper replaced, paint fixed. Obviously had been rear ended or backed into something so hard that it caused substantial damage that they as the dealership didn’t report because it was a leased vehicle they bought at auction (from the looks of reviews they do this a lot and prey on people that don’t sit and dig at them for hours to get the actual story out of them) they half ass fixed this truck themselves and are selling this car as clean and clear. We walked, and on our way out the truck was parked next to our car, the tail gate wasn’t sitting level in the vehicle, the entire bed is potentially bent and they are selling this as crab and clear. The shadiest of dealerships, my whole thought sitting there was that they obviously make their money on preying on young kids who are buying their first cars themselves and saddle them with these lemons that will ruin them financially. I hope the owner and salesmen there who are fully aware of what they are doing have the lives they deserve.
