My experience and Liberty Ford in Maple Hts,OH.

I had a very good experience with Liberty Ford. There a few things I think they need to do. The salesman need to be more knowledgeable on new ford cars and trucks, even if that means carrying around a cheat sheet. All too often when I would talk with a salesman about a car I would come across questions he did not know the answer to whether it was a question about one of the newer models on the showroom floor or about the dealership. Id think to myself " how passionate is this person about their job? Are they just trying to get me to buy a car?" Also in reference to the Certified Used Ford vehicles, if someone inquires about potentially purchasing a Certified Used Ford vehicle. When they show real interest about that car, the salesperson should check to make sure it is still under the factory provided warranty, THAT SAME DAY. Don't wait until the person is ready to buy the car and then surprise then with the bad news , " so the Certified Used Ford vehicle you were looking to purchase isn't actually Certified any more. That is the last thing any potential customer wants to hear. When I herd that I almost threw in the towel on buying a car. But,....the salesman noticed my dismay and salvaged the situation. I am very thankful he did because I ended up with a better car in the end. So things to work on 1) Require sales people to be more knowledgeable about new Ford Models on the showroom floor 2) If your are selling a Certified Used Ford to a customer, Make sure the car is still a Certified vehicle the SAME DAY the person shows interest, and by no means surprise them later down the line. It makes the sales person look bad, and the dealership worse. 3) If an appointment is made in regards to a sales person with the operator or the person who sits out front of the dealership when you walk in the main entrance. Make sure someone is there to greet people or sit in while the normal person is away. I set an appointment one day and showed up and was waiting 15-20 minutes before I was seen by someone in regards to the appointment I had set. No one should have to wait that long to speak to anyone at a car dealership of all places. that was a bit disappointing. Things I was pleased with 1) the people who worked there were very nice and easy to talk with. Not much pressure to purchase. 2) large selection of used cars to look at inside(Maple Hts). 3) my Certified Used 2012 Ford Escape. And yes it is Certified. 4) The salesman I was working with CJ. Thanks again CJ for all your help.
