I had a great experience with the service department at Liberty Ford, Brunswick. My 2013 Ford Edge All Wheel Drive had a Power Takeoff Unit that was poorly designed by Ford. It started to fail so a replacement had to be done. I took it in and the staff confirmed the problem as the PTU. They gave me an estimate of $1500. for parts and labor and because so many of these PYUs were failing, they had one in stock. Once the part was removed, they found out they did not have its replacement in stock. They over nighted the part but needed to keep the vehicle one extra day. The part was $300. more than they estimated but they stayed with the original estimate plus reduced my bill by $50. for keeping it an extra day. More than fair. The worked was done correctly the first time. I'll be back to buy another Ford from them next year.
