Jeff Wyler Eastgate Auto Mall
Dealership Sales Review
The worse car buying experience I have ever had. We dealt with them for 9 days and tried to give them a chance. First we met with a salesman on Sept. 11. We were looking for a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. He said he had nothing that matched the features we wanted on the lot so they may have to order one. One item we wanted was a tow package and we wanted to know how much the add on was. He said he would have to find out because that was done somewhere else and he would let us know. We had given him our phone number and 2 email addresses. By Thursday we still had not heard from him so the wife sent a message to Chrysler on line asking for a manager to call us. Well they didn't the salesman called and said he had been trying to send an email and it kept coming back as undeliverable. I confirmed the email address with him well it was a miracle minutes later I got the quote at both email addresses. The wife stopped in to complain and a Chris Brock talked to her said he was the manager and would take care of it and asked her to come in Friday and he had a car for her. So we packed up the grandkids and landed at 11am. We negotiated pricing and such and were ready to sign a deal by 2pm. He spent the next hour or so running around saying they were having problems locating the car. He finally comes back and I guessed it they sold a car they didn't even have. He said well that is not true they just can't find it. A while later he comes back and said they located it and one of the managers was driving it. He said it had about 1700 miles on it so we said well then it is a demo and they should take more money off. He swore this was not a demo it was brand new until I told him well that is a scam because he knows as well as I do it depreciates as soon as it hits the street. I told him well I am done with Wyler since he sold a car they didn't even have he said that was fine he didn't care if he sold us a car or not. REALLY? He finally came back and said well they could give me more off if we bought the car so we agreed. By this time it was 4:30 we had no lunch or anything for the day. We told him we were leaving and would be there Saturday morning to look at the car between 10-11. We pull in Saturday no new car sitting there. We went in and he said they were cleaning it up and would be there in a few minutes well that turned into closer to two more hours of sitting. Finally a car pulls up and he said well there it is take a look and make sure it has all the features on it that we wanted. We started looking at it and immediately realized this van had none of the features we wanted. He finally said well take this car to drive we will keep yours on the lot since they made a deal based on the current millage. Before we left the wife wrote down all the features and two top colors and must have told them 15 times no black or white. Chris said we may just have to build one but obviously it was never their intent. Chris called Monday night said he had a black one on a truck and if she wanted she could come in and look at it. I told him black wasn't an option but I would tell her. When she got home she called him and asked what he didn't understand about no black no white and why didn't he bring the red car in from Ft. Thomas that showed on their inventory. Tuesday I found Sweeny Chrysler had a couple that had our features so we went out there and talked with them. While there Chris called and said he had the red car there. We told the sales people at Sweeny where we were with Wyler and they said they would beat their offer but understood if we bought from Wyler since it was so much closer to us but he wrote down on a business card what he would beat the offer by to show Wyler's. We went back saw Chris and looked at the new car he had and sat down and I told him we had already spent enough time here just give us your best offer and told him we had talked to Sweeny. Chris got mad and said oh so you have been shopping around for cars behind my back. I told him it was our right he sold a car he didn't have couldn't tell us when he was getting a car and had lied about the car that he claimed was the car as it was actually a 2016 not a 2017 as he passed it off as. He claimed he did no such thing. I also told him that we had to do his job because he claimed he looked 2,000 miles out and could not find one with the features we wanted and my wife had told him about the red car at Wyler in Kentucky. He said no I told her, I told him that was it we were done trying to deal with [non-permissible content removed] because I had heard the entire phone conversation and she told him about the car because we looked at other dealer's inventory on line. Him and I were yelling because I have never had a salesman lie to me that much and then denied it all and call me a liar nor raise his voice back at me. I told him we were done he said they didn't want our business
