Jeff Wyler Eastgate Auto Mall
Dealership Sales Review
An extremely sexist and rude operation. I purchased a car with my then fiance this past year. Even though the trade in was in my name, I paid a 5 figure downpayment our of my bank account, they decided it would be most appropriate to put it in his name. If we go back and change it now, it will appear that I am the second owner of the car which is not ideal. Even changing the contact info at Mazda has not been successful. Everything goes to him. Mind you I had better credit than him as well. There is absolutely no reason my brand new car should be in anyone else's name but mine. But according to our salesman, "happy wife, happy life." The buying experience itself was terrible as well. It took us 6+ hours, ending an unexpected 3% interest rate when our salesman informed us that the cx-5 was currently offered at 0% and we most certainly qualified for that rate. At midnight when we were signing the final paperwork (arrived at 5:30pm), we were surprised to see 3%. Apparently the salesman was "misinformed" and the 0% was currently offered on the Mazda 6. They quickly adjusted the payments back to what we expected after I started walking out the door. I should have just left. THEN I brought my car into have it serviced. I was 15 minutes late due to one of the polar vortex winter storms. I apologized upon entering for being late, and they rudely corrected me that I was now 18 minutes late and everyone had left. This was at 11am. They said the car would be ready in 30-40 minutes. 1.5 hours later I went to the front desk and it had just pulled up. I regret the fact that I purchased here, although I love my car. I hate that I am locked in for service there or else my warranty is voided. Stay away and if you get a bad vibe from a place, go somewhere else. Especially with a brand new car, you can find the exact same one across town.
