Unethical Practices and Complete Lack of Accountability at KIA West Knyack

I would give ZERO stars if I could. I urge potential customers to steer clear of KIA West Knyack due to a series of unethical practices and a total disregard for customer satisfaction and legal business standards. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel obligated to share the details to prevent others from similar misfortune. I bought a pre-owned Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 and I will list all the issues I've been facing due to utter lack of professionalism: Blatant Misrepresentation of Warranty: I was deceitfully sold an extended warranty under the pretense that my car was no longer covered by the manufacturer's warranty, including a paper with the warranty status that was printed, a fact outright contradicted later by Mercedes-Benz themselves. The dealership seemingly leveraged my trust to influence my decision into incurring unnecessary costs. Failure to Perform Paid Services: After paying over $1,000 for pre-delivery inspection/preparation, I discovered alarming issues like a non-functional passenger seat module, transmission control issues (that will need to get replaced), and the engine light went on after 2 weeks, because of the transmission control and oil levels, indicating these services were never performed. This not only questions their competence but their honesty. Excessive Fees for Inadequate Service: The said inspection/preparation fee was charged without providing any itemized breakdown. The serious issues I encountered shortly after taking possession of the vehicle suggest that these services were not performed adequately, if at all, highlighting a lack of transparency and justification for the charges imposed. Warranty Service Denied: Despite selling me an extended warranty, they later refused to transport my vehicle for necessary repairs, falsely claiming such services were only available for Kia vehicles, which is not stated anywhere in the warranty documentation. Ignored Complaints and Lack of Communication: My attempts to resolve these issues have been met with silence. The sales associate, along with anyone else from the dealership, has not returned any of my emails. Their strategy seems to be to avoid putting anything in writing, likely to evade accountability. Suspected Auto Fraud: These deceptive actions likely amount to auto fraud. I have since reported them to consumer protection agencies and am pursuing legal recourse. My interactions with this dealership have been deeply troubling. There appears to be a pattern of withholding information and neglecting customer feedback, which raises questions about their transparency and accountability. The lack of detailed explanations for charges and the failure to honor commitments strongly suggest a disregard for ethical business practices. This experience has led me to seriously question the integrity of their operations. Their avoidance of any written communication post-complaint is a cowardly tactic that underscores their untrustworthiness. Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you too want to be another victim.
