Dealership Service Review
My CR-V was in for a recall. So I am going to assume they fixed whatever it was. I am going to assume they did the oil change. They did washed and waxed my car but did not buff all the polish out. They also scratched my door. So I had to come out 2x's to the dealer to fix the scratches and was not compensated for gas. 82 miles out of my way for a mistake caused by them. I should have been compensated and I am not happy that I wasn't. They over inflated my front tires to 35 psi & did not recalibrate. I don't like the fact that the you cannot watch the mechanics work on your car. I don't like that the mechanic who works on your car doesn't come out to talk to you about what he did. Might be something to think about changing. There is a disconnect between the parent company Honda's email system and Rensselaer Honda. I received an email from Honda the parent company stating my car was ready to be picked up when really my car was to be delivered to me. This caused unnecessary confusion & anxiety & I had to call to make sure my car would be delivered to me. In dealing with the service dept I dealt with Nicole. She was excellent. She was extremely professional yet very human with a great sense of humor. Communication was also excellent. She took her time to explain and answer any questions I had. Greg the general manager stated he would also take care of the small dents in the bummer which I believe he knew full well that you can't buff out dents in plastic. I am not happy with being told something just to appease me. Not a good practice.
