Dealership Sales Review
I asked the salesman for the price of a Insight including the add on fees and sales tax. He comes up with a price including $299 document fee. What's that I ask? Oh, that fee is for the paperwork we have to do. I said when you sell a car, don't you do paperwork for the sale? No answer. Then when I get the price, I said Ok, so that price will be $4500 less with the clunker trade in program right? He tells me, "Oh you didn't mention a trade in, the price will be $2000 more, list price". I said why? The $4500 is coming from the Govt directly to you". He says "yeah but we have to wait 2 weeks for the check". I said you mean that I have to pay $2000 more because you have to wait for a guaranteed check? I left. What a bunch of [violative content deleted]. I thought the economy was bad and auto sales are down. It doesn't matter. These [violative content deleted] can't break their habits of trying to cheat a customer.
