So So

Bought a Certified Pre-Owned Acura MDX from them -- experience was so-so. They move a lot of cars (or so they say) -- but they don't have oceans of cars onsite like you'd see at the larger dealers in the area so selection may be limited depending on what you want on the lot. Their mantra is pretty much don't ask don't tell -- they won't go out of their way to disclose anything about the cars so make sure you ask detailed questions and press the salespeople for answers. Do your homework and look the cars over carefully and get everything answered before you start negotiating. If they are being vague, it's most likely because they are hiding something about the vehicle. Finance department was actually OK, they had very competitive rates and naturally will try to sell you the extended warranty, wheel warranty, etc. The extended warranty (always a tossup in my mind) has a lot of play in the price and you can probably talk them down to where it's more competitive than what you could find on the web. Between all the paperwork, you are still looking at a wasted day to get your new/used car -- someday somebody will automate this and get you out in an hour. The car itself was OK, but I was in a bind and had to purchase something. Even though it was Certified, I later discovered somebody had previously been smoking in the car and somebody had tried to cover up the smell with lots of perfume packets. The car also had an alignment problem (steering wheel wasn't straight) that they were not interested in covering the charge for after the sale. Car also had a transmission leak -- which makes me wonder just how closely they follow the famed "multi-point" checklist. Was promised superior service post-sale and a followup call -- have yet to receive that. I had heard for years from friends and family that I should avoid Sunnyside at all cost -- while they aren't atrocious, I can't recommend them since they really don't differentiate themselves from anybody else. Pricewise, you'll do OK if you do your homework first but really they are nothing special.
