When I called to advise my truck just got dropped off from being shipped from Hawaii. They advised I didn't need to make an apt, and to just come in. So I made arrangements to tow it there. When I got there nobody was there to say anything. To be fair there was like a ton of people walking around, they are super busy. So I just walked up to an office with the door open. Now before I say anything else I want to ensure I give credit where credit is due. Rodrigo jumped in to help me, he maintained communication the entire time with me. Even when I called, and he missed my call he would call back ASAP. My first initial visit was a little confusing. Sign the paper, you'll be charged 199.97 for diagnostic fee but it will go to parts. Ok cool. Whatever. Then I get the call that it was a nut left off the battery and there was no parts needed. Now I'm not a mechanic by any means but I drove my truck since 2016 so I knew it felt more than a battery issue. The car would start here and there and sometimes it wouldn't start at all. I was immediately walked to cash out before I could test start my truck. So that was fail on my part for not speaking up. When I started it the check engine light was still on. So I went back to the office and told them. 3 times they walked me to the truck and before I could start the truck they walked away. I felt some type of way about that. But I told myself there busy. So the last time Rodrigo asked to keep it to look it over. I felt totally fine with that because I didn't want to leave knowing it could possible die out on me. However praise to him because he called me consistently to update me. Even if it was, there still looking for the problem he made sure that my truck was being looked after. 4 days later they fixed the problem! And look 4 days is not a long time, especially because I wanted it thoroughly done. So when I got there as we were walking to pay for it, I stopped and asked if I could look at the truck before I pay. He said ok. Truck was good! Remote start worked again. I had a wiring issue from someone in Hawaii who messed it up. I drove it around a few times, turned it off then turned it back on. All works great. The only problem I had was the part where I was told my brother could pay over the phone. I asked before I left my house and confirmed with Rodrigo when I was there. He said ok. When I got to the cashier. She said no. So my brother had to drive from work to pay for it. The other issue I had was the 199.97 did not go to any parts or Services. I had a wiring issue and my knocking sensor was cracked. I paid 199.97 plus an additional 1140.00 for the parts and services. Once I was done I read the fine print thoroughly and it states once I sign off that if there are any further issues or defective parts it is up to the owner of the truck to pay for the additions. Over all I would def take my truck back! However, I do think more thorough communication on the paperwork, and the pay prior to making someone sign the paper would be helpful. And allowing them to check their vehicle before walking them straight to the cashier will help with trusting in them more. Again, I can't say it's fully their fault. I was a little nervous, I just moved here, and I have past experience issues with mechanics. So I should have stopped and read first. The other thing I would recommend is standing there with your customer while they turn the vehicle off and on. I did get a little frustrated that I had to walk back to the office 3 times to say no. It's not working. I felt like I was chasing them down. But other that, thank you! But I do want to say thank you to Rodrigo for jumping right in to help me, even if I didn't have an apt. Whoever answered just said to bring it right in. And thank you for communicating to me daily on the status of my truck!
