Newer cars turn on Valet, when dropping the car for service

onI took my car for service with plenty of time to correct the issue, the service rep told me that the recall was going to take longer and it might run to the next day. Note that I had made an appointment and if they were so back up they should of call the later appointments to reschedule. In any event I left my car and turned on the Valet feature on the app. I was able to tell that the repair was done the same day in less than an hour when they were quoting me for three hours labor
