Having bought many cars over the last 50 years, purchasing one from Mercedes-Benz of Boston was the most pleasant car-buying experience we've ever had. There was zero pressure from anyone throughout the entire process. And the price tag on our certified pre-owned 2020 GLB250 was even a few thousand dollars less with lower mileage than comparable listings in the Boston area. Many, many thanks to Andy, our courteous and very knowledgable sales consultant, for patiently helping us throughout an entire afternoon as we test-drove the car and made the purchase. In fact, when a glitch stopped us from transferring the down payment from our bank account to the dealership's account by using our laptop, Andy drove us to the nearest bank branch just in the nick of time before it closed to get a cashier's check to finalize the purchase. Thanks also to Paolo for his careful and patient explanation of service and warranty options so we could make the right decision for our future needs. For many years we had heard the Herb Chambers advertising phrase, "We don't sell cars, we help people buy them," and thought it was just a cute, catchy slogan. But it's really true. They didn't play any of those infuriating, demeaning car dealer sales games. They obviously care about their customers, and we were treated better than we've ever been treated when buying a car.
