Had my 2024 XT5 car in there 6-8 times for squeaky brakes. Contacted GM about it also. Bottom line is this per their service tech and service manager. It is normal to have your brakes squeak every time you apply them. It's because of the material that GM uses. Really? I have never had this happen in any of my Cadillacs before or another 2023 Cadillac I currently own. GM opened a case and then gave me GM points and closed the case. Guess they were hoping that would pacify me. Clearly it does not. Contacted them every day for three weeks and not one return call back. Per another mechanic I need to change out my brake pads and possibly my rotors. All of this on my own dime with less then 10k mikes on the vehicle. Bottom line...will never buy another Cadillac or GM made product again.
