DARCARS Toyota of Silver Spring
Dealership Sales Review
GlassDoor shows that 31% of the employees approve of the CEO, and 21% would recommend working there to a friend. Darcars was found guilty of charging customers a 2% sales commission, which they later had to refund. Darcars was found guilty of selling three of the same car within a week to an old man with dementia I had the good fortune of purchasing a vehicle two months after the multi-million dollar settlements. Every time there was a total that was more than the sum of its parts, I demanded an itemization. They provided it and all the charges were those I had seen earlier with other dealerships. Toyota's "Roadside Service" offers towing, but that's good only if you want to be towed to a dealership, not to a repair shop. After I signed everything, I realized I had one more question for the finance manager. I was told to wait in the waiting area. I discovered later that he had just gone off to lunch and they couldn't be bothered to inform me that I would be waiting a long time. After driving off with the vehicle, I found a checklist in the glove compartment with all the stuff they should have gone over with me, but forgot to. Because my expectations going into this were so low, I was pleasantly surprised that they weren't glaringly trying to rip me off.
