Kerry Chevrolet

My visit to Kerry Chevrolet Service in Alexandria, Kentucky cost me dearly and people should be warned. My vehicle was still under a factory powertrain warranty when the engine very suddenly lost power and died at the side of the road. While I won’t bore you with details it was evident the head gasket was blown. Kerry Chevrolet got hung up on a replacement heater core hose and diagnosed that as the cause of engine failure even though the hose never caused the issue. GM denied the claim based off a diagnosis that three separate Chevrolet service managers said, given the circumstances, was likely NOT the issue. So I am out thousands due to horrendously bad diagnostic capability. Furthermore they took apart my engine without my permission and would not take that off my diagnostic bill even though it was unnecessary (other ways to check for a blown head gasket) and they did not have my permission to do so. In any event, I hope you read this before it’s too late. I am transferring my vehicle to a more reputable dealership and will post a follow up to this review upon their diagnosis.
