Warranty oil change

Brought my sierra denali to the service center for a warranty oil change and tire rotation. All went well and I was told it was the last warranty oil change. I was disappointed hearing that. I wonder why a vehicle warranty that is 7 years and 100,000 miles doesn’t cover oil changes for the entire warranty.
