Don Hinds Ford
Dealership Sales Review
I drove four and a half hours to pick up my Ford Transit 150 which wasn’t a bad value. However, I was told the body was very clean with no dings or dents and it was in great condition. Which wasn’t completely one way or the other but definitely left a few things out. I understand a used van will have minor cosmetic problems. But there was a chip out of the windshield and the sliding door doesn’t close smoothly on top of 8 little dents around the truck. My salesmen was a pretty nice guy but I just wish he would have taken a better look at the truck so I knew what I was walking into. I ended up buying it anyways bc I needed the truck and I rented a car to drive out to buy it and would have cost me too much to not buy at that point. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized the door wouldn’t close properly, superb job “inspecting” the vehicle prior to my arrival. All in all, not too pleased, I love the van but now I have to pay to get my door fixed and a new windshield on my van that cost me just under $25,000.
