The best place to buy your next car or truck

I thought I would never buy from a dealer again until I went to auffenbberg ford. I was researching online and looking for a (get away for the weekend truck) for my wife and I. I first looked on Craigslist and around town but everything in my price range was 2 or 3,000 over what I wanted to pay with posts on craigslist like, "the price is not negotiable" and "beautiful truck but there is a slight knock in the engine" .. I had a thought to look at some dealerships near me, even tho I said I would not buy from a dealer because of there high prices and there sales swag, know it all personality. I looked on edmunds.com and cars.com for dealership reviews in my area and stumbled on auffenberg ford, Great reviews!! So I went to their website to check on prices, I was blown away! The prices were the lowest within 100 miles. I found a truck I was interested in and sent a email to see if they still had it in stock. They responded the next morning with an email and a phone call, I called back and made an appointment to look at the truck I was interested in. When I arrived the sales staff were friendly and the showroom was spotless, the guy I originally had the appointment with was with another customer at the time but there was another sales person willing to help me right away, her name was Vicky. I let her know the stock number of the truck I was interested in and she started looking to see if they still had it in stock. She found it, but it was up the road a bit in another lot so she grabbed a car from her lot and said, "I will drive you up there so you can take a look at it". We drove up to the other lot and I began looking at the truck. She was not the pressure car sales person that I remembered in the past. She was polite and very patient as I started looking at every part of the truck. She started the engine for me and noticed it was out of gas, as I was reviewing the truck she went into the building to get some gas. She came back and had a 2 gallon gas can but the spout was to small to fit in the tank, she walk back into the building and brought out a funnel for the gas can and I helped her put the gas in. I drove the truck up and down the street gunned it a couple of times and spent at least 20 min in the truck. The whole time, there was not any pressure to buy, she let me make the choice. We drove the truck back to the lot and I let her know that I would take the truck. She went above and beyond for me and that's what really impacted my decision to buy. We filled out the paperwork and I was able to get the loan and drive the truck home that night. You know it's a good place to buy when the sales person does not pressure you to buy or give you a big speech about how great the car or truck is. They let you do what you come in the dealership to do, buy a vehicle. I am very happy with my experience and my purchase there and will now buy all my future cars or trucks there.
