Still Left With A Bad Taste In My Mouth Mazda !!!!!!

This review is about the district manager at the Autobarn Mazda of Evanston. I purchased a 2014 Mazda 6 from this dealership and was very happy with my experience with my salesman and since then going back for routine oil changes,etc... has been an equally pleasant experience with their service department and they have all taken care of me in a professional matter when there. HOWEVER, I've had a bad experience with how my situation was handled by Mazda. The color of my car is Soul Red Metallic, this color of paint is something you pay extra for the car and it is claimed by Mazda as stated by them, " To create Soul Red Metallic, we put an entirely new three-coat painting process into action. The result is absolutely unlike any other red on the road—a deep and vivid redness that appears to emanate from within. By using two separate coats of high-brightness aluminum flakes and high-chroma red pigment, it is nothing less than an audacious reinvention of the painting process. " I love the color of this car and am told that by people all the time and didnt mind paying extra money for it and even got a paint protection from Mazda, called their Autoguard, to help keep this paint looking great whereby I go every 6 months to this dealership to have then apply a coat to the car to help protect the pain. That all said is Great but what I am very unhappy with is how after only having this car for about a year now, as stated before its a 2014 Mazda 6, I have paint on my car that is starting to flake off and in most uncommon spots. I brought this to the dealerships attention and I believe they did what they could do to address this problem but when they brought this issue to their district managers attention he declined to have my problem fixed saying that my paint flaking off is due to "enviromental" causes ! It would have cost Mazda roughly $1800.00 to correct this problem as I was shown the work order and estimate to have this taken care of. This incident was reported to them by me in March of this year, the dealership took pictures and sent them on to the district manager for approval but I was declined, as just mentioned, by he or she just looking at these pictures Im guessing via email. I have done online searches and read online forums and Im not the first person to complain about their 2014 Mazda 6 red soul metallic paint flaking off !!! So much for paying extra for this color paint and getting a paint guard protection to protect the paint !!! A cars paint shouldnt flake off after not even a year to the point you see metal on the car no matter how small or big the flake !!!!!! Mazda has a beautiful color in this red soul metallic paint and boasts about it even in their brouchures, manuals,etc....I only wish they would have done the right thing in addressing this issue of mine and I feel now I must get stock in touchup paint for this car because God only knows what else is going to happen to this paint that isnt "enviromentally" caused. In closing, I must make mention that this review is in now way a negative reflection on this Mazda dealer by any means ! I feel they did what they could do for me before taking it to a higher level, which they did. From my salesman John, to the service manager Myriam and service associate Juan Vargas I thank you for the positive experience with all of you and hope to keep that going moving forward but to the district manager or whomever made this decision based off of emailed pictures and who refused to take care of this matter properly I dont have anything good to say about this incident at all with you.
