Without an appointment, I drove my 2018 Toyota Highlander to Auto Nation to determine what a red light blinked continuously on the dashboard after the motor was turned off. I thought something serious was going on that I had never noticed before. One of the experienced service advisors was familiar with this and told me immediately that the blinking was normal and caused by the built-in alarm system. I also requested and received a diagnostic testing of the brakes as I had been told by a tire company employee that my brake pads were wearing. The finding was that the brakes rated 8 and did not require repair at this time. I truly appreciated the service given and the courtesy and respect shown by the advisor.
