Dealership Sales Review
I have bought around a dozen cars throughout my life and this was the worst experience. The salesperson herself did a very good job. However when I dealt with Winston in finance, that was a totally different experience. At first, he tried to sell me a 7 year extended warranty that started on 12/12/2015 and ended on 12/12/2022. The date of my purchase was 3/31/2019, so I had only 3 years left on the alleged 7 year warranty. Then he sold me a 5 year extended warranty. Once at home, I changed my mind and wanted a refund on the 5 year warranty. I returned to the dealership on 4/3/2019, but Winston told me my car had not been processed in the system, so the warranty cancellation form was not available yet. Of note, my check for the whole purchase price had been cleared from my bank on 4/2, so why was my car not processed yet? Winston told me he would email me the warranty cancellation form on 4/5. I waited until 4/15 and called him. He still did not email the form promptly, so I had to talk to Matt the finance manager and to Colin the sales manager for Winston to finally email the form. I have personally delivered the form back to the dealership, and I am waiting to see how long it takes them to refund my money.
