Dealership Sales Review
I purchased a vehicle from Mercedes-Benz of Pompano Beach in 2020. Car was exceptional never had any issues. Recently, due to a work/travel situation, I decided to sell my vehicle back in (2/5/22). The sales associate Umit was the same in both instances. Price and terms are agreed and everything is documented both sides and I am happy with the agreement. Fast forward to over a month later, payoff letter submitted etc, I still do not have a reimbursement that was agreed. I continue to contact Umit from sales which has now asked me to not contact him further, and even then, still would not provide feedback or an status of my reimbursement. I’ve reached out to 3 separate members of the finance team including the Finance Director Ryan Barksdale, Ashley Galan, and Marjine Uddin all via email and multiple voicemails, no acknowledgement or replies to date. I left multiple voicemails to the General Managers phone numbers that was provided by the operator at dealership…zero update. I've never been in a scenario where I have to chase a dealership for a reimbursement status in the thousands of dollars. I hate to be a person that leaves negative feedback, however everything about this place from the sales to the management at this point seems completely irresponsible and lacking any sense of customer service. I’d highly recommend driving a few more miles and taking your business elsewhere. At this point…I’m forced to leave feedback of my experience across various car sites, forums, and ultimately formally lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the coming days and discussing next steps with my lawyer.
