Good afternoon, I was at Autonation Honda Miami Lakes yesterday afternoon and I can honestly say that out of all the times that I have been here, unfortunately yesterday was the first bad experience I had. I did not like the service I received from the service advisor, his name is Raul Cancela. It was overall a bad experience with him. Starting off by the way his approach was to me, completely unprofessional and very uncomfortable . I do want to mention that I am a woman and I have to say that before he can say a word to me or I to him, he stared me down from head to toe a few times, so much that it was honestly uncomfortable as a woman. He wasn't even focused on what I was telling him was wrong with my car, he was too busy staring me down . Honestly I did not even want to be attended by him at this point. Maybe this isn't a huge deal for you guys but for me as a woman that was there by herself, it was and is a huge deal. I was there for a purpose , to get service on my vehicle , get that problem resolved and most importantly receive good customer service and it was not given to me. On top of that ,while I was waiting for my car to be returned to me, not once did I get an update on it. I was there for 2 hrs and I did not hear from him but to tell me the mechanic was waiting for me to go out and test drive to figure out what was the problem with the vehicle. He could have given me an update about something but no word from him. As a matter of fact, I had to ask another service advisor that was present to help give me an update because mine was no where in sight . In the past I have received updates with the other service advisor's and this time it was different, I guess I expected some sort of update. I do want to mention and I find it to be worth it , the mechanic that took me for the test drive, I made sure to get his name Juan, he was really nice and professional. I felt comfortable with him and I completely respected the fact that he respected me and gave me great customer service. He was informative , helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly professional and someone like me can definitely appreciate someone like him. I hope that it can be known to him that I gave him a great review and he did a great job with me. As for the service advisor well you already know how I felt about him and I hope that this matter can be discussed with him/everyone because most that work there are men, but I hope that these types of matters are discussed within meetings and make this subject important, especially with the sensitive times we are currently living in. There is no reason whatsoever for me, a woman, to ever feel disrespected and uncomfortable just to get service on my vehicle . I do feel its important for you guys to know that yes, I will continue to get services on my vehicle at this shop but this past occasion was a definite disappointment and hopefully I'll have a better experience next time. Although I gave this review I will answer the following questions truthfully and to whoever is reading this, if its read, thank you for taking the time .
