Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables
Dealership Sales Review
I have purchased two cars from Mercedes Benz Coral Gables, and my first experience was wonderful and exceptional. My salesman, Ralph Perez, is unparalleled and simply the best; in service, Frankie and Marco are outstanding. My disappointment and frustration lie with the financier, Sergio Betancourt, who, aside from being rude and despotic, gave me the worst deal imaginable. I believe no one would treat even their worst enemy this way: Less than a month ago, I leased a used GLE 350 with approximately 5,500 miles. I made a $4,000 down payment, leaving me with $2,000 monthly payments for 36 months. At the end of the lease, if I want to buy the car, I have to pay about $41,500. This means the car will end up costing me $117,500, whereas the current market price for this car is $80,000. I went to his office politely to request a reconsideration, and his response was: "That’s the contract, and you signed it. Goodbye." He turned his back on me. When I tried to speak to him again, he walked away. Do not make the mistake of letting him finance your car; he is the worst. Unfortunately, my relationship with Mercedes Benz will suffer as I will be taking legal action. I hope Mercedes Benz Coral Gables considers this review and teaches this man ethics, how to help, and how to respect clients, because people like him drive customers away. If you go there, remember the name Sergio Betancourt—stay far away from him. To avoid risks, tell your salesman that you want nothing to do with this financier or simply go to another dealer. Be very careful when going to this dealer. They have the entire strategy very well planned; In sales the service is unbeatable, in service the attention is the best. Everything prepared so that when you go to financing, you feel comfortable and confident!!! That's where reality begins with this dealer, they treat you like family, and the reality is that they are calculating financing for you, totally beneficial for them and the worst deal of your life. Without knowing it, you will be signing the purchase or lease of a car, with which you are giving up your kidneys and eyes. When you go there, be accompanied by a car financing advisor, do not go alone because the same or worse thing could happen to you than what happened to me. And the worst thing, when they send an email to the financier to give them a response regarding that death contract that he gave you to sign, he NEVER answers it and leaves you without a response, and when you personally go to ask for an explanation, everyone tells you. They fall over themselves to try to make it look like you did the best deal. DO NOT GO TO THAT DEALER. They also include guarantees in the contract, which one did not ask for. DO NOT GO TO THAT DEALER. It is my humble recommendation
