2024 Civic Type R recall/warranty Service

This review is solely on my experience with the service department. I cannot comment on the rest of the departments. I called in and made an appointment for the next available day, which was the following week (Wednesday, 7:40am) regarding a recall on a possible sticky steering wheel for my used 2024 Honda Civic Type R (with 3,343 miles). I also had a concern of a leaking overflow tank which seems to be a common occurrence with the Type R. I went in for my scheduled appointment and was given an ETA check of about 3 hours and was given a call within 2 hours with an update that my overflow tank was confirmed leaking and the part needed to be ordered. Turnaround ETA was 1-2 days with expected pick up date Friday or the following week. I left the dealership after turning in my car and went to work this same day, so I mentioned I would allow their team to keep my car and do their thing. In regards to the "sticky steering wheel" I did not have any noticeable issues with my steering wheel but I wanted to get it checked anyways since I was primarily going in for the overflow tank leak. Paul, the assistant service manager, helped me with my service needs. Paul is a good guy, he works efficiently and gave me excellent details about my cars situation along with letting me know that everything was covered by the recall notice along with Honda's warranty. Away from the dealership Paul mentioned he had an injury preventing him from being 100%, so to be working injured on a keyboard all day; I applaud you sir! Play by play timing. I dropped off my car at 7:40 AM on a Wednesday, left the dealership to go to work after the ETA was 3 hours to diagnose and review, received an update about the parts and leaking overflow tank issue covered by warranty, ETA of new parts arrival 1-2 business days, left the car overnight, and got a call the next day Thursday at 10ish AM that my car was ready for pick up. Overall my experience was pleasant and the turnaround time was faster than expected! Thank you Honda of Riverside! If I need anymore service needs, I will be coming back!
